Dovecotes of Cappadocia...
Pigeon Valley is famous for its traditional dovecotes and lies between Uchisar and Goreme towns. There are different trails to get into this beautiful hike which varies in between 1 to 2 hours of time. Pigeon houses along the valley are not active anymore which in time were used to make gun powder out of the droppings, fertilizer and also to collect the egg whites to use while making plaster.
